Errors happen in all organizations. It is how your organization reacts to errors that can make a significant difference. Just Culture refers to a system in which both the organization and the employee take a shared accountability and work together to investigate the error and identify the root cause with the goal of reducing or eliminating recurrence.
In a Just Culture, organization are responsible for the systems they have designed as well as the manner in which they respond to errors in a fair and just manner. Employees have the responsibility to report errors and system failures as they occur as well as the quality of decisions they make.
This workshop will introduce the Just Culture framework, work through how to use the Just Culture Algorithm, and highlight the benefits of this system.
