Welcome to the Oklahoma City Chapter of ASQ, Section 1408. We strive to promote the importance & necessity of quality in all industries.

Membership Chair: Karla Marshall, Focused Strategies Group
Section Secretary & Program Chair: Nina Lay, Aviation Training Consulting
Section Auditor: Magno Couto, Palfinger AG Manufacturing
Section Treasurer: Jenny Anderson, Normal Regional Hospital

Our next event will be in September 2024.  ASQ lapel pins are available for all of our members.  Be proud of your association! Check our Events tab for details!

Speaking of events, we have an idea to issue Section certificates to those who attend our events.
Utilizing the Hierarchy of Precious Substances:

  1. Silver: Attend 25 events
  2. Ruby: Attend 40 events
  3. Gold: Attend 50 events
  4. Diamond: Attend 60 events
  5. Platinum: Attend 70 events (& maybe get a nice acrylic award at this level?)

Attend & engage in our Section events, earn your certificate, add it to your LinkedIn, & share your accomplishment on social media. (If you like this idea, please let us know!)

If you have any announcements or positive news for us to share, please notify us so we can celebrate your accomplishments!

Quarterly we typically have one of two formal events that keep our members & future members connected: professional development meetings & company tours.

Our professional development meetings give our members the opportunity to network with other quality and business professionals from around the greater Oklahoma City area while listening to a speaker. Our plant tours are great way to share best practices among many different industries, so there is always something for everyone. Apart from networking opportunities, our events also count for continuing education credits to go towards recertification.

We are pleased to announce that the Oklahoma City Section has received the Silver award recognition for 2023. As you know, the PEP award program was created to recognize Member Units for excellent performance that reinforces ASQ's thought leadership position and expands ASQ offerings to members and customers.
