Dear Section Member,
The ASQ Ottawa Valley Section Nomination Committee is requesting your nominations of Officers for 2021:
● Section Chair
● Vice-Chair
● Treasurer
● Secretary
from the membership of our Section. These Officers would be serving from 1 January to 31 December, 2021.
The following are brief position descriptions:
● Section Chair: Provides leadership and oversight to the Section. Prepares meeting agendas and is the presiding officer.
● Vice-Chair: Performs duties as directed by Chair in support of the organization’s mission and goals.
● Secretary: Documents the Section’s business and maintains records. Serves as the official correspondent of the Section.
● Treasurer: Oversees funds. Maintains accurate financial records. Reports on financial condition as directed by the bylaws, and policies & procedures.
If you wish to nominate a member for one of these positions, you can find nomination forms and information on our website www.asqottawa.ca, or you can contact the nominations chair at asqottawa407@gmail.com. Please note that the submission must be signed by at least ten regular members of the Section.
Please consider carefully your choices for the Officers of the Section and submit your nominations as soon as possible to meet the closing date for nominations of September 7, 2020.
