Community Information:
The Toledo Section of the American Society for Quality was founded in July of 1949, only a few years after ASQ was established. The founders of the Section envisioned a proactive organization to advance quality in the Toledo area.
Since that time, the Toledo Section has held conferences, educational sessions, dinner meetings and plant tours for their members. Speakers at these events included W. Edwards Deming, Frank Gryna, Phil Crosby and Shin Taguchi. There were parties in the 1960’s, Management nights in the 1970’s to promote Quality to Leadership, and beginning in the 1980’s the section actively offered Quality courses to local universities, community colleges, ASQ members, and the community.
Join with the ASQ Toledo Section to build a vibrant community supporting and celebrating Quality.
