ASQ Phoenix Message from the Chair June 2025

Greetings All -

Thanks to all who attended the May Program “Quality 4.0 and AI: Unlocking New Levels of Product Excellence and Customer Satisfaction” with John Choate, Founder & Chief Project Officer, GlobalAI Supply Chain Solutions. We had 61 attending the Program with the Presentation receiving positive feedback.  This and past Program recordings can be found in the “Library” on the Phoenix Section page of myASQ.

This month’s Program on June 12th @ 6pm MST (PDT) is “Food Safety Culture as a Strategic Asset: Driving Excellence Beyond Audits” with Jennifer DuCree, Sr. Manager, Crisis and Risk Management at RQA, Inc. With over 20 years of experience, her background spans various food sectors including bakery and snack foods, fruit and vegetable processing and repacking, nuts and confections, food ingredient manufacturing, recipe meals and meal kits, cereal grain processing, nutraceuticals, and spirits.

When you can, please review our new ASQ Phoenix Monthly One Page Lessons (OPL) designed to support your knowledge and efforts in using quality and process improvement tools. These are available in the Phoenix Section Blog. Our new lesson this month is “Value Stream Maps.”

Starting July 22nd will be the “Joint Division Conference: Driving Excellence Across Industries”.  This 3-day virtual conference is hosted by five ASQ Divisions/Technical Communities: Quality Management, Software, Energy and Environmental, Government, Design and Construction. The conference will feature three distinct tracks, each designed to highlight cross-industry challenges and opportunities.
