ASQ Phoenix Message from the Chair - July 2025
Greetings All -
Thanks to all who attended the June Program “Food Safety Culture as a Strategic Asset: Driving Excellence Beyond Audits” with Jennifer DuCree, Sr. Manager, Crisis and Risk Management at RQA, Inc. We had 53 attending the Program with the Presentation receiving positive feedback. This and past Program recordings can be found in the “Library” on the Phoenix Section page of myASQ.
This month’s Program on July 10th @ 6pm MST (PDT) is “Demystifying Internal Audits” with Jennifer Stepniowski, an ASQ Fellow with nearly three decades of experience providing quality solutions to a number of industries. As a CMQ/OE, Jennifer has built and executed quality systems for several organizations including a global implementation for Milwaukee Tool and more recently for Modine's Advanced Thermal Systems. As a certified IATF 16949 auditor, Jennifer has supported the certification and management process for production within the automotive industry.
When you can, please review our new ASQ Phoenix Monthly One Page Lessons (OPL) designed to support your knowledge and efforts in using quality and process improvement tools. These are available in the Phoenix Section Blog.
Starting July 22nd will be the “Joint Division Conference: Driving Excellence Across Industries”. This 3-day virtual conference is hosted by five ASQ Divisions/Technical Communities: Quality Management, Software, Energy and Environmental, Government, Design and Construction. The conference will feature three distinct tracks, each designed to highlight cross-industry challenges and opportunities.
And September 10-11 will be the 31st ASQ Audit Division Conference in Reno, NV. This year’s Conference will be held in collaboration with the ASQ Food, Drug and Cosmetic Division. The focus will be “Artificial Intelligence in Auditing - Navigating the New Era”.
