ASQ Phoenix at ASU Polytech Campus (Mesa), August 2023
Several ASQ Phoenix Section member leaders met with faculty and staff at ASU’s School of Manufacturing on the Polytech campus in Mesa. ASU is building an Advanced Manufacturing Systems curriculum, offering BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees to prepare students for careers in Industry 4.0. The ASQ Phoenix Section wishes to provide synergistic education and training opportunities as well as coaching, mentoring, and networking in Quality 4.0, and in addition to sponsoring scholarships.
The ASU School of Manufacturing is looking for local industry experts in Design of Experiments, SPC & Capability, and Non-Destructive Testing & Test Method Development who could teach classes in the Spring semester. More details to follow from ASU.
ASU Manufacturing is also keenly interested in participating in Capstone projects with Greater Phoenix manufacturers, and possible grants from area businesses.
