Volunteer Opportunity Details

ASQ recognizes that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are vital to fulfilling our mission, ASQ empowers individuals and communities of the world to achieve excellence through quality.  

The purpose of the Belonging Committee Charter is to:

•   Affirm ASQ’s commitment to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) within the Society.
•   Develop and support an established framework for action, accountability, and continuous improvement in DEIB.
• Finalize DEIB principles and practices are integrated into the Society.

Committee Member Expectations

Committee terms are 2 years.

•   Term limit (max of 2 terms)
•    Staggered terms will be developed as the committee evolves. 

Committee members are expected to commit up to 6 hours per month to the committee. The committee meets once a month (virtually), plus subcommittee meetings, and future events.
