Praveen Gupta, a Fellow of ASQ and the Chair of the ASQ Silicon Valley Section, has used quality tools and techniques to provide Quality leadership in an organization. He understands business is about quality of products and services and quality about the profit and growth. As the director of quality at Stephen Gould Corporation in Fremont, Praveen has created a culture of quality in a Sales organization and made quality management system a means to business objectives, i.e., margin and customer acquisition. Praveen received Quality Professional of the Year Award in 2016 and a Professional Alumni Achievement Award in 2008. He is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He had been a certified PE (Electrical Engg), ASQ CSSBB, CQE, and CSQE.
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS 9100 or IATF 16949 quality management system (QMS) standards are based on process approach and incorporate new requirements for the business context and risk assessment. To implement a new or upgrade a QMS for compliance to new requirements, Praveen will share practical ways to implement the process approach and risk assessment and mitigation methods.
