VTASQ in Partnership with VMEC Announce: Noontime Knowledge - Management System Certification Bill

When:  Mar 20, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Vermont Section
No matter what standard your Quality Management System (QMS) is predicated on (ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485), there is a prescribed set of rules the Certification Body (CB) must follow when auditing your organization.

Have you experienced any of the following?
  • Inconsistent audit findings from the CB Lead Assessor
  • Lead Assessor’s approach with you or your people does not feel like continuous improvement support
  • Arbitrary grading of opportunity for improvement into minors and minors into majors
  • A “soft” nonconformance (NCR) is issued; not a NCR, just the threat of it becoming one on the next audit
  • NCR not well supported by a system requirement
  • Valid, appropriate objective evidence presented doesn’t satisfy the Lead Assessor

If you have witnessed these scenarios or others that have caught your attention when your organization has undergone its audit, then this session may be of value to you.
