An effective quality management system is enabled by active knowledge management. This session will focus on three key areas of knowledge management as it enables quality management.
It will provide an understanding of the principles of knowledge management, including transforming data into information; the acquisition and creation of knowledge; and some shared best practices for dissemination and using information and knowledge for the purpose of quality management and building a quality culture.
Three tools will be provided through case studies: knowledge maps, international benchmarking, and community of practice.

Jerimiah Genest is a quality professional with over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He is currently Head of Quality at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, with previous experience at Takeda, Sanofi, Thermo Fisher and Vertex. Chair -elect of FD&C Division of ASQ, and past chair of the Workplace and Team Excellence Forum.
