“Calibration failure investigations”
Measurement and test equipment need periodic calibration to ensure their results are accurate and traceable. Calibration failure of instruments is important to investigate in order assess the potential risk and impact to affected product quality. This presentation explores handling reference instrument out of tolerance, and out of calibration conditions from a manufacturer point of view. Relevant metrology concepts as well as strategies to mitigate the risk of calibration failures is also shared.
