A plant tour at Laempe Reich has been scheduled for Thursday May 29 from 11 till 1. The plant is located in Trussville, AL. Laempe Reich supplies core machines and cores to the foundry industry. They have been very active with continuous improvement activities and are willing to share their experiences.
The workforce is on a one shift schedule and usually ends in the early afternoon. Our tour has been scheduled so we can see the operation in action. They have offered to supply lunch. There is limited space available, so we are limiting the tour to 15 people and asking that you contact Glen or Dave before Thursday May 22 to confirm attendance. In the event we cannot get 10 people signed up for the tour it will be canceled.
