ISO 9001:2026 What’s New

When:  Dec 18, 2025 from 05:30 PM to 09:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Syracuse Section

The 2026 Version of ISO 9001 is expected to be released in October of 2026.  So, what’s new?  The International Organization of Standardization (ISO) is supposed to review and issue revisions every five years.  But this revision had taken 10 years, so you might expect some radical changes.

This presentation will provide some answers on what’s new in the standard, how this change impacts other quality management system standards and what steps to take next.  It will also answer the question of timing and what happens to current certifications once the new revision is published.

The presenter, Bob Napoletano, has been working with the ISO 9000 series of quality management system standards since their first publication in 1987.  Bob has helped many companies develop and implement quality management systems to achieve third party certification.  Bob’s efforts have included gap analysis and mitigation, general employee training, internal auditor training, documentation development and change management.  Bob has also been a lead assessor for Bureau Veritas.  He has worked with ISO 9001, AS 9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.

Please join us in-person or virtually.  The cost is $5.00.  If you want to join in person, we will be at TDO, 445 Electronics Pkwy Suite 102, Liverpool, NY 13088

The presentation will start at 6 PM and for those joining in person there will be pizza and soda.  There will also be an opportunity for discussion on this and other topics after the presentation.
