ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Dr. Macht, a professor on the faculty of Walden University, serves as an instructor, dissertation chair and committee member. After retiring as a quality leader from Johnson and Johnson, Dr. Macht has focused on a career in the academic sector and on AI/ML for medical devices. In 2020 during the Covid pandemic, she innovated the webinar strategy for the ASQ Philadelphia Section as Program Chair 2020/2021. She was the ASQ Philadelphia Section Chair 2022 and cochair of the ASQ World Conference 2023 Site Committee.

An accomplished industry leader with cross-functional supply chain experience Dr. Macht holds CQA, CSSGB, CRRM certifications and is an Academic Coordinator, Xavier Health Pathway to Patient Health QA/RA program supporting undergraduate quality education at the University of Minnosota, LaSalle University, and Georgia State University.
Dr. Macht holds a BS Civil/Environmental Engineering - Penn State, an MBA - Walden University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration, Global Supply Chain Management - Walden University.


Dr. Macht has authored papers on Data Quality for AI in Healthcare, Data Bias in Medical Device Development, Novel Coating Uniformity Models for Tablet Pan Coaters, Tablet Pan Coating Performance During Scale Up and Between Batch and Continuous Processes, Strategies to Influence a Quality and Compliance Culture, and a contributor to The Refractive Thinker®2022. Dr. Macht is a contributor and peer-reviewer for the AMMI.
