What SPC is really about and how it connects to quality.

Dr. Sophronia (Frony) Ward will use her extensive SPC knowledge to provide a presentation that will demystify some of the confusion that often makes SPC systems ineffective and difficult to use.
Dr. Ward will be utilizing concepts from her popular workshop and workbook, “SPC: Getting Started” and the curriculum and course materials from the seminar, “Perfecting Continual Improvement Skills” to define what SPC can actually provide to your quality program, and be utilized effectively, unlike so many systems that are in place today. 

About the Speaker: Dr. Sophronia (Frony) WardDr. Sophronia (Frony) Ward is a Managing Partner of Pinnacle Partners, Inc. She is a statistician and Continual Improvement Expert who specializes in Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control training, consulting, and coaching. Currently her expertise is being utilized in many companies as their expert “Senior Master Black Belt”. 
Dr. Ward received her B.S. in statistics for North Carolina State University and her Ph.D. 
in statistics from Virginia Tech. She was a professor at the University of Tennessee 
until 1984. She is a member of the American Statistical Association, the Biometric 
Society, the Association for Psychological Type and a Senior Member of American 
Society for Quality.
