ASQ Inspection Division Offers CERTIFIED QUALITY TECHNICIAN Certification Exam Preparation – Beginning October 2025
This Certified Quality Technician (CQT) exam preparation training is a 24 contact hour review delivered over 6 four-hour virtual sessions. It is designed and taught to help experienced quality inspectors and technicians prepare for the CQT exam. It is intended to help the learner become familiar with the complete Body of Knowledge by understanding the content covered by the six main domains in the ASQ CQT BoK. This is an instructor led virtual class.
The Certified Quality Technician is a paraprofessional who, in support of and under the direction of quality engineers or supervisors, analyzes and solves quality problems, prepares inspection plans and instructions, selects sampling plan applications, prepares procedures, trains inspectors, performs audits, analyzes quality costs and other quality data, and applies fundamental statistical methods for process control.

Attendees of this course should have some prior knowledge of statistics, metrology, calibration, auditing, risk management, and inspection and test, as this course is designed as a review of the subject areas needed for the CQT exam.
