ASQ Columbus Section is planning a tour of Columbus Zoo.
Twilight Tour and Life Support Systems presentation at the Columbus Zoo
Nick Eichensehr and Mike Grumney from The Life Support Services Dept will be presenting to the group. The Life Support Systems (LSS) team is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of systems at the Zoo which provide the healthy aquatic environments that allow the animals in our care to thrive. There are elements related to facilities management, driving and safety, as well as animal wellbeing, that intertwine to create the journey of systems change and problem-solving opportunities which will be interesting to learn about during the tour.
This is the timeline:

5:00pm - Guides meet the group outside the front entrance of the Zoo (arrive at least 10 minutes early)
5:05pm to 5:30pm - presentation in Edward's Classroom Education Building
5:30pm to 7:00pm - tour on grounds visiting Life Support Systems
Cost is $40/person, Maximum of 25 attendees (ASQ is Subsidizing a portion of the overall cost)
