Digital Transformation & Interaction with the Human Factor in the Multinational Manufacturing Supply

When:  Jun 2, 2023 from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM (PT)

My focus is the Human Factor interacting within the digital transformation after observing smart manufacturing assembly lines with sensors throughout to enhance real time data acquisition. The main objective is to monitor all kind of data from the maintenance perspective but also from the quality side, where lean principles and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) were incorporated in the lines design. Digital Quality Management Systems connect domestic and international sites with great reporting and dashboard capabilities while laboratory equipment have similar digital connectivity with domestic and international sites. I have also been looking at predictive analytics and what the data scientists are doing. The speed of change of technology and software often outpaces the capabilities of the human factor involved in using that technology and software, therefore, what the information system and technology offer does not get fully utilized.
