We are pleased to announce our next online event -
Leadership Lessons from Life in a Fighter Squadron -
with our guest Speaker, and former ASQ Wichita Section Chair, Art Bierschbach.
Abstract:
Everybody has a leadership role in life, and that is never more true than in a fighter
squadron. I learned three main lessons in a fighter squadron that are directly
applicable to leaders anywhere – in business, at home, in church, or coaching your
kid’s soccer team. These lessons are Teamwork, Trust, and Take-aways.
Teamwork is essential for success – as my friend and mentor John Maxwell says,
“One is too small a number to accomplish anything of significance.” We need to
build trust, based on performance, to succeed in any endevour. Finally, we are
usually good at analyzing problems, but when is the last time you analyzed a
success to make it repeatable? We will talk about all three of these lessons and how
to apply them in your life.
