We will discuss the essential pillars of governance, the frameworks/processes, and the human-in-the-loop needed to enable the safe, responsible, and scalable adoption of AI.

Speaker Bio
Kamala K Nanjundeshaiah is an experienced quality professional with in-depth experience in embedded system product development and driving quality and compliance across multiple domains. Currently, she leads quality and compliance for medical devices, specializing in software and AI-enabled medical devices.
She is a strong promoter and enabler of responsible AI. She actively contributes to this field by establishing quality frameworks and processes, developing agents, publishing articles, and speaking at conferences about AI and quality.
Kamala is an active member of the ASQ and holds both the Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor certifications. She has held several leadership positions, including serving as Chair of the Manitoba Section and being a member of the WCQI Technical Committee. Additionally, she has chaired the Medical Device Division Newsletter and currently serves as the Secretary for the division. Kamala frequently shares her experience and insights as a speaker at the WCQI and other prominent industry conferences, and she also publishes articles in her field.
