The presentation will be done in the Lunch and Learn format on the 10 elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

What is ILS? For Defence, it’s ensuring that the optimum Mission System is delivered to the end user in the best possible condition with the ability to fulfill its designed mission role under the stated operational conditions as per its intended mission profile.

Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) are the backbones of every ILS program, and the presentation will be of great interest to people interested in reliability and systems engineering. These elements range from Engineering and Maintenance Support, Supply Support, Training Support, Technical Data, Personnel, Facilities, Packaging Handling Storage and Preservation (PHS&T), Support and Test Equipment, Computer Support and Disposal. The presentation will be high-level and will aim to give the viewers an overview of the elements of logistics support and some examples of how it’s applied and the tools that can be used.
