Decimal Engineering, Inc. was established in 1967 in Fort Lauderdale, in a 2,500 square-foot facility and grew to 4,000 before a change in ownership in 1980. With some equipment updating, the new owner started the company on a rapid path of development. Growing to 37,500 square feet in a Pompano Beach facility in 1986, Decimal had matured from a small sheet metal “job shop” to a full-service manufacturing facility. The business continued to grow steadily to 1996 when Decimal exploded, doubling the employee base and nearly tripling sales. In addition to sheet metal fabrication, the company has expanded its services to include CNC machining, laser cutting, metal stamping, and wire EDM. In 2019 Decimal moved into its current headquarters and 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Coral Springs. It is currently fully automated, employing over 135 people, working 3 shifts. Decimal continues to acquire cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment. The highly trained engineering department will take a part/print from concept to completion with the latest and greatest engineering and programming software.
