    Hi All,

I'm collecting my RUs, and I have never used "Courses - Instructor Credit".  In the Recertification Journal, the last bullet states that,

"All courses must be taught in addition to your usual job responsibilities and verified as such in writing by your immediate supervisor/manager or HR department or from client..."

I have taught various courses throughout my career, always within my company.  The courses are related to my department, like internal auditing, but not part of my "usual job responsibilities".  Does anyone know if it is acceptable to use classes that are internal to a company that you belong?  I've considered using this in the past, but I've always been concerned about the RUs not being accepted.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have in the past.  I list each course individually and typically my manager would also include it in the employment verification letter.  Something along the lines that in addition to my job I taught X number of hours with the from & to dates.  I have not had a problem with using training hours in the past.

    Hi Dawn,

Thank you for your comments.  I think I will utilize this method going forward with submitting recerts.

    Thanks,
