I have a question about the requirements to take the CQI exam. The webpage says that 3 years of experience are required and that trade school, associate, bachelor's, master's or doctorate will waive two years. But when I look at the exam application PDF, which is downloadable from the same page, it says something different. The PDF says that two years of experience are required, and that you cannot waive any years with education. I will soon have one year of experience and already have a bachelor's degree. I need to clarify this because I will be studying for the exam previous to my one year anniversary at my calibration job. Thanks to anyone who can help.

    Michael,

With two conflicting requirements--both from the same source--I would choose the requirement that best fits my own goals. If that's the wrong choice, they'll let you know. I suspect the webpage is the most current source, simply because revising and uploading a PDF form involves more steps.

    Good luck,

    Craig
