Good morning Gerle
My name is Cary Black. I have been with ASQ since 2002 and in that time have had roles as the Chair for the Saginaw, MI, and New Orleans ASQ sections, and served briefly as a Deputy Regional Director for Region 10.

Currently, I have a client in the Dominican Republic with an established manufacturing facility in the International Free Trade Zone outside of Santiago.

We are currently expanding their product lines by setting up a large-scale production line for baseball/softball batting, catching helmets, face guards, and chest protectors. The factory also manufactures sports-related clothing, shoes, hats, backpacks, and other items. The company currently employs over one thousand people in Santiago and continues to grow.

The baseball equipment listed above is certified by NOCSAE (National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment). The Certifications require an ISO 9000-like QMS system to support the manufacturing and quality control/assurance of these products.

We are actively seeking "local" individual(s) who may have quality training to manage and operate a large QC/QA Testing Laboratory that provides compliant testing and production processing support through the use of SPC, ANSI/ASQ Sampling Plans, and Quality Leadership.
