September 2020 Expert Answers - Test Accuracy Ratio and Test Uncertainty Ratio

Test Uncertainty Ratios are a useful rule of thumb but need translation to specific compliance situations. Test Accuracy Ratios must surely be much more difficult concepts to handle as accuracy relates specifically to closeness to a 'true' value and that is a very problematic concept to handle. If there is a knowledge of an accuracy issue it is much more likely to be a correction but will have its own uncertainty contribution to add in to a Test Uncertainty.
