Dan Burrows it looks like private messaging is primarily intended for quick and easy communication within the community. I think it's assuming content shared resides somewhere in the community or can otherwise be shared with a link (more like Messenger than Outlook).
It's not currently an option, but could be a feature request if clients are looking for it. I'd love to hear more how you and others expect private messaging to work.
I would like to be able to attach files such as .pdf, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. if I am exchanging information through myASQ with a colleague. Let's say that someone is interested in me sending them a training presentation.
It just seems odd that I can attach pictures and videos to a message but not a MS Office type of file. I do recommend that this be a feature request. Otherwise, folks needing to do this would have to go outside of myASQ and I thought the point of myASQ was to provide the means to communicate and exchange information within myASQ to funnel people to myASQ.
