Voice of Quality in Southern Colorado
ASQ Pikes Peak Section 1312 is a local society of members dedicated to the ongoing development, advancement, and promotion of quality concepts, principles, and techniques.
ASQ is not just for quality engineers or auditors. We offer products, services, and — most of all — information to help people address quality and improvement issues like total quality management, benchmarking, productivity, and more.
To promote awareness, understanding, application and results of Quality Concepts and Best Practices in Southern Colorado by being a source of information, education and expertise in all Quality Matters.
Attending ASQ monthly meetings is a great way to network with other quality-minded individuals from a variety of different industries and learn about quality-related topics. The Pikes Peak ASQ Section holds eight monthly meetings each year. All are invited on the second Wednesday of the following months:
Certification and Re-certification
ASQ certification is a formal recognition by ASQ that an individual has demonstrated a proficiency within, and comprehension of, a specific body of knowledge. Nearly 500,000 certifications have been granted around the world and across a wide variety of industries. According to the ASQ Website (asq.org), "Since 1991, certification has been rated as one of the three most valued benefits of ASQ membership. A professional certification offers tangible benefits to both the individual and the employer. Invest in yourself and your career with this mark of excellence. Gain an advantage over your competition and increase the potential of earning a higher salary."
ASQ currently offers 18 individual certifications that support various levels of employment, from entry-level to Management. Certifications are available to support the following areas of Quality:
