Speaker bio:Shaniqua is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Ph.D. Candidate in Organizational Leadership at Charleston Southern University in Charleston, SC. She delivers various services in process improvement, strategic planning, internal auditing, risk management, legal research, and corporate governance to various federal agencies. Her experience includes working as a Senior Advisor at several federal agencies (USDA, HHS, and GAO) for 20 years.
Shaniqua is CEO of SMS Advisers - Strategic Management Solutions, LLC., a small minority business management consulting firm specializing in conducting various training services in lean six sigma, internal auditing, risk management, project management, and legal research. Moreover, she provides business management consulting services. Shaniqua advised senior executives (Political Appointees, COOs, CIOs, CHCOs, ALJs, and CAOs) at various federal agencies.
She earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University in Washinton, DC, and double-majored in Political Science and English at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. Shaniqua is an ICF Professional Career Coach with a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
She is an active member of the ASQ Government Division and is an ASQ Designated Examiner for ASQ/ANSI G1:2021 Guidelines for Evaluating the Quality of Government Operations and Services. She is an Adjunct Faculty at the College of Charleston at the School of Business and is a member of the Board of Directors at St. James Foundation.
