This session will provide attendees with excellent questions to ask and key processes for using facts to solve problems, make decisions, and plan actions; and then communicate effectively to others. One of the takeaways from this session will provide attendees with a good thinking process that uncovers data and focuses on the asking of questions to get others to think and reason - instead of the typical inspection where an inspector goes in, tells the team what they are not doing correctly and asks them for change. Think of it as an audit that passes along the logic and thinking to those who you are inspecting, versus everything being dependent upon your expertise.
- This presentation will focus on how to move people from relying upon experience, history, and past wisdom to a more questions-based process for looking at problems, decisions, and plans. An example of using better questions and process skills versus content-based brainstorming skills will drive the importance of improving one's critical thinking.
- A specific formula will be practiced for managing past, present, and future situations that need quality integrated into the problem solving, decision making, and planning processes. Plan to improve how you analyze and garner conclusions using a more critical thinking approach.
