ASQ Phoenix Section Oct 13 Program: Karen Hulting, Medtronic - Proving Equivalence 4241
ASQ Phoenix Section Oct 13 Program: Karen Hulting, Medtronic - Proving Equivalence
9
Speaker: Karen Hulting

Topic: Proving Equivalence

Abstract: In this session, participants will learn the distinctions between the 2-sample t-test and the 2-sample equivalence test, learn how to use Minitab™ or JMP™ software to plan and execute an equivalence study and see real-world case studies where the 2-sample equivalence test was applied. We’ll cover recommendations for the challenging step of determining, from subject-matter expertise, an appropriate range of equivalence. The key take-away from this session will be increased awareness of a valuable tool in quality improvement and assurance.

Special Announcement: Due to a lack of interest, the in-person option for this October 13 Program has been canceled. We will try again in 2023. The Section Chair will communicate this change to the 2 individuals who had signed-up for the face-to-face networking.
