Pizza dinner in Arroyo Grande

Our pizza meetups have gone pretty well so far, one in Oxnard and one in Santa Barbara! Both evenings, people showed up, and we had lively conversations back and forth. So let's try it again farther north.

As a reminder, here's the basic idea: The last couple of years have been very tough for in-person meetings. But in-person meetings have always been tough for our Channel Cities Section anyway, because we are so spread out geographically. We have members in San Luis Obispo, and we have members in Thousand Oaks. There is no single location that is within easy driving distance for everyone. So, ... What if we got together in person on a local basis? Who's in?

A couple details:

• ASQ buys the pizza; if you want drinks or extras, please get those on your own.


• This is a social meeting. There's no program beyond eating pizza and talking to each other. Our monthly programs seem to be working very well over Zoom, and I don't want to interfere with them.


• After this, ... well we are getting close to the end of the year. But if people like it, we could repeat the plan again next year!

For this dinner, we will meet at Klondike Pizza in Arroyo Grande. The reservations have already been made, so we know how many people we are expecting this time. Still, we plan to do the same again next year. So if you are interested, watch this space!
