How Using Knowledge Management Practices Supports Waste Elimination
Have you ever struggled with the Eight Wastes? Do you want to improve your organization’s efforts to eliminate those wastes? You may not be able to totally eliminate the wastes, but you can use knowledge management (KM) practices to lessen the effects of wastes and even get in front of them to prevent them or slow their progress. At a basic level, knowledge management is knowing what to do with the information you have. Participants will leave with a basic understanding of KM and how integrating KM practices can support removing or reducing the eight wastes to something that doesn’t consume an organization’s daily activities.
