The 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month beginning in February 2024 from
Noon to 2:00 EST will be used to break down a semester length course
following roughly the outline:
Introduction and course outline, what it’s all about!
Probability (Hint: Reliability is Applied Probability)
Discrete and Continuous distributions
Distributions continued…Weibull distribution
Reliability Modeling — parallel, series, redundant, standby systems
FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Reliability Testing
Reliability Allocations and Predictions, Reliability Growth
System Safety Analysis and link to Reliability (Fault Tree Analysis,
Hazard analysis)
Maintainability & Human Reliability
The attendees of each session will receive RU’s , and a .pdf of the
presentation will be available for download after each session.
This Master’s level Engineering course is intended for engineers who have
moved into the Reliability arena at their companies; but, all engineers are
welcome to attend.
