Many ISO professionals complete their training, gain their qualification, and then hit the same question: Now what?

This presentation explores the gap between learning ISO standards and confidently applying them in the real world.

Using stories, practical examples, and a simple leadership framework, Jackie will share why technical knowledge alone is not enough to create influence, drive engagement, or build respected quality leaders.

The session introduces the three essential elements of ISO leadership:

  • Knowledge
  • Application
  • Soft Skills

Attendees will reflect on where they are in their own leadership journey, from Explorer through to Leader, and gain practical insight into how to move toward real ISO leadership.

About the speaker:  Jackie Stapleton is an ISO Leadership Specialist, author, speaker, trainer, coach, and Lead Auditor with more than 25 years of experience working with ISO management systems across quality, environmental, and health & safety disciplines.  As the Director of Auditor Training Online, Jackie has supported thousands of ISO professionals across more than 90 countries through auditor training, implementation guidance, and leadership development.

Jackie is the author of Lead the Standard, a leadership philosophy focused on helping ISO professionals move from technical knowledge to develop the confidence, application skills, and influence required to become respected leaders in their organizations and industries.

Her work bridges the gap between qualification and real-world application, with a strong focus on practical leadership, communication, and creating systems that people genuinely engage with, rather than simply comply with.
