Just received a request (on March 12) to share this job posting.

Quality Engineer | Aerospace | Yakima, WA
Compensation: $70,000 – $78,000 + Profit Sharing & Great Benefits
Relocation Assistance Available | No Sponsorship Offered

I’m looking for a Quality Engineer to join a team in Yakima that has been at the top of the aerospace game for 50 years. This isn't just another manufacturing job—this company is the global leader in high-tech resin and polymer components, supplying parts to nearly every major airline and OEM you can think of.

The Best Part? The Lifestyle.

If you’re tired of the "grid-locked life" in places like Seattle or Portland, this is your escape. We’re looking for someone who wants to do world-class engineering during the week and be on the water or in the mountains by Friday evening.

Outdoor Heaven: You’ll have 300 days of sunshine a year and immediate access to the Yakima, Columbia, and Snake Rivers. Whether you're into hiking, lowland lakes, or just incredible scenery, it’s all right in your backyard.

The Perfect Middle Ground: You get the quiet, desert-hill beauty of the Yakima Valley, but you’re still within a three-hour drive of Seattle, Portland, and Spokane when you want a big-city fix.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

You won’t just be sitting behind a desk. You’ll be the "voice of the customer" on the floor, working closely with the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales teams to make sure every part we ship exceeds expectations.

You'll dive into Product Realization (PRP) and PFMEAs to mitigate risks.

You’ll lead Corrective Actions and MRB activities to keep things running smoothly.

You’ll be a mentor, helping others interpret drawings and master measurement methods.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: A 4-year technical degree is great, but if you have 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience instead, we want to talk to you.

The Basics: You need to be a pro at reading engineering drawings and using MS Office/ERP systems.

The "Plus" Factors: If you know AS9100, Lean manufacturing, or have an ASQ certification, you’ll move to the front of the line.

Authorization: You must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. (we cannot offer sponsorship or transfers at this time).

The Perks:

We take care of our people. On top of a solid salary and relocation assistance, you’ll get a 401(k) with a match, profit sharing, and a generous time-off package (80 hours vacation, 8 holidays, and 7 personal days).

Please reach out to me for additional details-
