ABOUT THE TOPIC
Effective Risk Management (RM) involves a systematic, data-driven approach to monitoring trends and identifying and mitigating risks before they result in costly delays, rework, product recalls or other unwelcome surprises. Many RM webinars focus mostly reviewing the standard, ISO 14971, telling you what a good idea it is, and even walking you through steps needed to create some nice impressive documents to demonstrate compliance. This talk will be a little different, providing a broader approach on what you can do with these documents other than just put them on the shelf for future auditors. RM is not a Quality-Only responsibility — everyone throughout the organization needs to have a stake in it. This talk will focus on how RM activities can be used during the life of the product and support and facilitate future improvement activities. The principles to be discussed are applicable to any industry or product.
