In academics and education, where the focus is on continuous improvement and student success, Six Sigma emerges as a transformative methodology. This webinar delves into the integration of Six Sigma principles in education, exploring how it enhances teaching processes, administrative efficiency, and overall institutional effectiveness.

Since 1990, Moutaz Zrein has guided business development, provided technical and commercial services to Automation and Power Systems integration projects, coordinated training programs, started his own consulting company, and helped organizations reach their strategic objectives through projects.

After working as a Technical Trainer for National Defense in Canada, Mr. Zrein started working as a Design Engineer and System Integrator for Rockwell Automation and AEG Power Solutions, large multi-national manufacturers of Control and Power Systems. Mr. Zrein designed and developed several Control Systems and handled both hardware and software development of several projects in Oil and Gas, Utilities, and various manufacturing companies.

In 2008, Mr. Zrein went thru a major career transformation, Project Management became his passion obtained a Master's Degree in Project Management and a PMP certification, Moutaz took a job as a PMO Director for Advanced Vision EM, a large Electro-Mechanical construction group, he initiated and started a new PMO department to manage a 17-billion-dollar portfolio. The successful implementation of the PMO project brought change and digital transformation to the organization and provided big opportunities for cost savings, better risk management, and handling overall.

Realizing the sense of urgency and importance of delivering training in today’s fast-changing business environment, in 2013, Moutaz completed a series of certifications in Agile Project Management, Lean and Six Sigma, Business Process improvement methodologies, he has delivered various training courses to several people covering a wide range of industry.

Mr. Zrein holds an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University and a Master's Degree in Project Management from the University du Quebec. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer and a Project Management Professional (PMP)^® certification holder, a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, certified ITIL and Change Management Practitioner from APM Group.
