NextGen Liaison
What is the NextGen Liaison Group?
The NextGen Liaison Group is an outreach effort of the NextGen Global Advocacy Committee. Its purpose is to support NextGen Chairs and other leaders across ASQ sections, divisions, and committees.
This group helps:
- NextGen leaders connect for greater impact
- ASQ leaders better engage and support NextGen members
- volunteers share ideas, questions, and resources
- build community across ASQ
Low commitment. High support.
We know volunteers already have a lot going on. This group is designed to be a flexible, low-commitment, high-support space - not one more heavy obligation.
There are no extra requirements beyond participating when you can.
Our approach is simple:
Come. Swap. Test. Grow.
Think of it like a PDCA cycle for NextGen engagement: share ideas, learn from others, try new approaches, and grow together.
Why join?
This group is a place to:
- talk through challenges
- share what's working
- learn what others are trying
- better understand ASQ structures and how others navigate them
- connect with people who understand the opportunities and struggles of engaging NextGen members
Sometimes the most helpful thing is simply hearing:
- "We've run into that too."
- "Here's what worked for us."
- "Here's what didn't."
- "You're not doing this alone."

- NextGen Chairs
- NextGen volunteers and emerging leaders
- section, division, and committee leaders working to engage NextGen members
- anyone who could use a little extra support, fresh ideas, or a stronger connection to others doing this work
If you've ever wished for a flexible place to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from others across ASQ, this group is for you.
This may sound like one more thing for volunteers to do - but the goal is actually the opposite. We hope this group will be a catalyst: helping you connect, learn, and build momentum while creating a stronger sense of belonging and engagement for NextGen members.
