Tutorial/Workshop: Assessing Supply Chain Risks and Proposing Controls – Jim Moran
Jim Moran, M.A.Ed. has been implementing ISO Management Systems since 1992, starting with the first version of ISO 9001, the 1987 edition. He served on PC 280 to enhance ISO 20700:2017 Guidelines for management consultancy services, and he serves on committees for the Canadian General Standards Board, CGSB and MSECB.
The Program topic for the evening will be: Cybersecurity in Supply Chains

- List key principles and requirements of ISO/IEC 27036-2:2022
- Discuss how to implement ISO/IEC 27036-2:2022 in your organization
The tutorial will be: Assess Supply Chain Risks and Propose Controls
Tutorial Learning Objectives:
- Assess a hypothetical supplier
- Secure a hypothetical supplier
- Work as a group to identify risks and propose security controls using ISO/IEC 27036-2:2022 principles
