Our November 14 meeting will be held as a Virtual Meeting with both a program and tutorial.

Our featured speaker is Susan Gorveatte.  Susan is President of Gorveatte Consulting Inc. and is a Quality Auditor, Trainer and Coach. She has worked 25+ years in ISO 9001 Quality Management & Quality Customer Service.  She has been successful blending the right amount of art and science needed to create a formula to success for organizations to consistently meet and even exceed client expectations.

With a passion to help companies succeed, Susan has trained hundreds of companies from small entrepreneurial based organizations to large national and international clients.   Susan has a strong background in the automotive manufacturing and service sectors.  Her functional experience includes business start-up and growth, team problem solving, and Quality Management Systems documentation, implementation, training and auditing.

The program topic for the evening is "Writing Nonconformances that Stick and Corrective Actions that Cure."

After conducting an audit, it is important to document the audit findings in a way the auditee organization can understand the problem statement. Learn the ingredients of how to make a nonconformity "stick" so the real issue can be resolved the first time.

Now that your nonconformance is clearly documented, do you know what a good corrective action should look like? It’s time to review what it takes to write corrective actions that not only exterminate the problem, but bury it and put rocks on it so it never happens again.

After the program, the tutorial topic is "Effective Nonconformance and Corrective Action Writing.”  The lecture will be supplemented with a group activity to write the 4 components of a sticky nonconformance and a corrective action that will ensure the issue never comes back.

Please Note:  Advanced registration is required and will close at noon on Sunday November 12th.  Register Here
