TOPIC: “How to Build a Lean Culture on the Front Lines”
BIO: David Hinds is a business coach, educator, and author of the book entitled, “The Essence of Lean: A Superior System of Management.” As a passionate believer in the value of Lean thinking, David provides management training and advisory services for organizations who wish to build a more resilient culture through the development of Lean organizational practices.
During his professional career, he was the owner of a building supply distributor and held senior management positions in consulting, biotechnology, and transportation. After earning his Ph.D., David joined the faculty of the Huizenga Business School where he developed and taught courses in Lean entrepreneurship, service operations management, data-driven decision making, and information systems.
