On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our distinct pleasure to present the First R.A.M.S. Europe Conference, held under the theme “Reliability Foundations.”

This year marks a significant milestone as we bring the trusted legacy of the R.A.M.S. symposium to Europe for the first time. Rooted in decades of global collaboration and innovation, this new European chapter aims to strengthen the core principles that underpin our field—reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety—while fostering a diverse and inclusive community of experts from industry, academia, and government.

Our theme, “Reliability Foundations,” emphasizes the importance of reinforcing the essential concepts, methods, and practices that ensure systems perform effectively and safely throughout their lifecycle. As we face emerging technological, economic, and environmental challenges, revisiting and strengthening these foundational elements is more important than ever.

The program features a rich array of technical sessions, expert panels, and tutorials that reflect the breadth and depth of the field—from mission-critical design and modelling to life-cycle cost control and policy-driven implementation. In addition, our event offers invaluable networking opportunities, creating a collaborative space for producers and consumers of reliable systems to share insights, align goals, and build long-lasting partnerships.

We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers, participants, sponsors, and volunteers who have contributed to making this inaugural event a success. Your engagement and expertise are vital in shaping the future of R&M in Europe and beyond.

We invite you to take full advantage of the opportunities this conference offers—to learn, to connect, and to build the foundations of a more reliable tomorrow.
