On November 21, 2023, the Board of Directors of ASQ elected James E. Breneman, a Fellow of the Society.

His citation reads:
“For leading the development of Weibull analysis and risk analysis in the industry, for improving industry/university relationships, for unrelenting dedication to mentoring and teaching, for maturing future leaders in the fields of risk, reliability, and statistics, and dedicated service to ASQ and the quality profession as a whole.”

The grade of ASQ Fellow is an earned distinction, based upon an individual’s
established record of contributions to the quality profession and the Society. This
achievement is a symbol of respect from your colleagues and accepted by the highest officers at ASQ.

He will be receiving the Fellow certificate before the 2024 World Conference on Quality and Improvement in San Diego, California. The Fellow pin will be awarded to him during the conference.

We all know Jim for his newsletter editing, Webinar presenting, papers and book contributor, course instructor and his constant support of the ASQ Reliability and Risk Division.

Congratulations and keep up the good support!
