Requirements for Management Review are one of places in ISO 9001 where the standard becomes very specific.

Clause 9.3.2c lists QMS-related areas organizations must consider when conducting management reviews.

Note the language here. The standard specifically indicates that trends in data should be considered. If you are only looking at a small snapshot in time, you are missing the intent of this clause.
