ASQ Sections, Division Win Gold In PAR-Performance

Milwaukee, Wis., May 22, 2018 — Four ASQ sections and one division were recently recognized at the World Conference on Quality and Improvement in Seattle for enhancing member value, developing member leaders and funding activities.

The sections won gold in ASQ’s Performance Awards and Recognition-Performance program designed to improve member retention and growth. This year’s gold winners include:
  • Design and Construction Division
  • Vermont Section
  • Princeton Section
  • San Diego Section
  • Blue Ridge Section
Additionally, the Blue Ridge Section and Inspection Division were awarded bronze in the PAR-Innovation category for their innovative best practices across various categories. PAR-Innovation is an optional, stand-alone program designed to recognizing member units exhibiting exceptional results from their initiatives.

PAR is the model member units follow when planning, funding and executing actions designed to drive higher-levels of member engagement.

The program is intended to be simple, achievable and inspiring while also providing opportunities to capture, share, and be recognized for innovative best practices. PAR is focused on gaining, engaging, and retaining members throughout the society.

Intent to submit forms for PAR-Innovation are due Thursday, May 31.
