8D: A COMPREHENSIVE PROBLEM SOLVING TECHNIQUE FOR GOVERNMENT
0 3
Government agencies at federal, state and local levels are tasked with solving some of society’s most complex problems, from poverty and poor health to crumbling infrastructure. But as quality practitioners, we often find the most frustrating issues and biggest headaches for government staff are the day-to-day, repetitive issues – errors on reports, lack of internal coordination between departments, poor communication, and inefficient processes and procedures, to name a few.

This webinar introduces the Eight Disciplines (8D), a comprehensive problem-solving approach that can be managed by existing government staff, helps identify and resolve the true root of a problem and can be rolled out quickly without the typical bureaucracy involved in implementing organization-wide improvement initiatives. The webinar will show different examples of how to customize an 8D implementation in different types of organizations.
