Presenter: Dr. Betsy Macht (she/her), Global Supply Chain Management - Quality Leader, Walden University Doctoral Methodologist. Dr. Macht is a university professor on the faculty of Walden University serving as an instructor, dissertation chair & committee member. An accomplished industry leader with cross-functional supply chain experience she is a certified quality auditor, certified 6 sigma green belt, certified risk manager (CQA, CSSGB, CRRM) and teaches undergraduate students for the Xavier Health Pathway to Patient Health QA/RA program at the Univ of Minnesota and Lasalle University. She has also been a member of the board for the Fairless Hills, Pa YMCA, and is a member of the AI Experts Network.
About this topic: Have you ever been asked to evaluate your operations to reduce costs? Reducing the cost of manufacturing is a perpetual challenge. There are different approaches to use to achieve that goal. In this presentation we will focus on optimizing the sampling process as a way to improve process efficiency and save costs. It is only one of many ways to drive improvement but this mini-workshop may help you innovate ideas to use in your own role and operations that can contribute to operational efficiency.
