Integrating Design Thinking in Problem Solving

Speaker: Kush Shah

In the current agile and highly competitive global business environment, innovation is very critical for any organization to grow and succeed. Design thinking is both an ideology and a process, focused on practical and creative innovation in an extremely user-centric way. Design thinking is a non-linear, iterative human-centered process that teams use to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions to prototype and test.

In this presentation, participants will be introduced to design thinking process steps utilizing Stanford Design Thinking framework and review of several case studies of design thinking real world applications. We will also show how Design Thinking can be integrated into any problem-solving framework – DMAIC, IDDOV, PDCA etc.
